Hey! So Glad You're Here.
Welcome to Silencing Stigma, a dedicated and compassionate organization committed to empowering young girls. We do this by providing them with comprehensive knowledge about periods that help to break the barriers of stigma surrounding menstruation. We firmly believe that every woman deserves access to accurate information and a supportive community to acquire a better understanding of how, and why we menstruate. We do this through interactive sessions that delve into the hygienic, societal, and biological aspects of mensuration that are often neglected or labelled as ‘taboo’. We believe that education is the key to dispelling these myths. Through interactive workshops, informative sessions, and engaging resources, we equip girls with the necessary tools to understand their bodies, manage their periods comfortably, and make informed decisions about their health and well-being. By challenging societal norms and fostering a sense of empowerment, we aim to create a future where periods are no longer taboo but celebrated as a natural and beautiful part of womanhood.
